Every year, Technovation challenges girls to build a business plan & mobile app that addresses a community problem. Since 2009, over 15,000 girls have participated from over 100 countries.


The Technovation Edmonton season runs for 10 weeks from early February to late April 2019, with a live pitch and season wrap up event in early May.

Teams are recruited from Edmonton schools and community groups. They are paired with technology and business mentors who support their team as they work through the curriculum to create a business plan and app that addresses a community issue.
