Eligibility
Technovation Challenge is open to girls aged 10-18 from the Edmonton area. Teams of up to 5 are formed at your school or community group, and participate in the program with the rest of the teams from the Edmonton area.
Timeline
Each Technovation Chapter is run differently. In Edmonton, our season opens February 7, 2019 and runs through to the submission deadline on April 23, 2019. To cap off these season, we host a live pitch event in early May where teams can showcase their amazing work to family, friends, supporters, and their fellow teams.
How it works
Teams are paired with technology and business mentors from the community who help and guide you through the curriculum. Throughout the season, there are 3 all team meet-ups at NAIT. These meet-up are hosted on Saturday mornings, and provide an opportunity for the all teams and mentors to come together and support each other. During these meet-ups we host guest speakers to provide additional help & guidance.
